Ambassador’s Message

The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the State of Kuwait was opened in 1995 following the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1991.The Embassy, pursuant to its mandate, actively engages the host’s public and private sectors, including those in the State of Qatar, Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to which it is also accredited, in pursuing mutual beneficial engagements with a view to accelerating the achievement by Zimbabwe of an Upper Middle Income Status by 2030.
I am heartened to note that the Mission’s area of operation has attracted a fair share of our Diaspora, who are living and working in these countries, and have in the process, become a key cog in the developmental thrust and aspirations of the Second Republic. In this regard, the Mission has made it one of its primary goals, to periodically engage the Diaspora in order to keep them abreast of Zimbabwe’s developmental policies and the role they are expected to play in complimenting the same. Let me hasten to point out that the Mission will timeously respond to the Consular needs of the Diaspora, including those of foreigners in advancing their respective interests.
Last but not least, the Diaspora is encouraged to register with the Embassy on a voluntary basis, in order to enable us to effectively cater for their safety and wellbeing. To all our stakeholders, please feel free to contact the Embassy should the need arises.

I thank you.
